Made some tea
As these thoughts surrounded me.
Poured a cup,
And took a sip
With a warning burned my tongue.
Said "Whatever"
Drank some more
Punished me and burned my throat.
Oh, this ache
It's everywhere
Spinning head and tired eyes.
Tired mind
And tired body
Go to sleep you weary spirit.
Say a prayer
Close your eyes
Know His love will never die.
Don't forget,
You sleepy soul...
You will never be alone.
